Well the long awaited replacement for the 749 series is soon to be available. Aesthetically no different than the 1098 but available in the obligatory red plus a pearl white option.
With 30% more power and 30kg less than the 749 and a better power to weight ratio than the 999 plus engine mods and Ducati pushing it's refined motor and handling this could be a real temptation. After deciding for the 749 as opposed to it's bigger brother and never really feeling the need for a whole lot more, I could be very satisfied with one of these! Some serious deliberating is now about to commence..... ![]() Last edited by Pedrosa; 12-11-07 at 02:23 PM. Reason: error |

A guy on the ducati forum has ordered a pearl white one, he reckons he should have it by the middle of December. I'll be interested in seeing it in the flesh.

![]() ![]() BTW Rigor, that tinkling sound you hear right now is not the dry clutch, it is me attacking the slot of my piggy bank with a knife! Last edited by Pedrosa; 12-11-07 at 02:23 PM. Reason: error |

Hopefully yes, then the bikes would have to be bigger and I might stand an outside chance of fitting on one!
