Default How do you "Nod" - My Random bit for today

Well on my ride into work this morning I Nodded my usual hello at a bike coming towards me on the other side of the M1.

Decided I was feeling "cheeky" so gave the Chin down towards the chest, Ear towards your shoulder, short, sharp, nod, and got back a side to side head shake.

Was that another type of nod or was he not impressed

Anyway Just to be random (and kill the 10 mins before I go home), How do "You" greet other bikers

On my own, a wave. Riding with IAM, a nod.

Inside the M25, or if I'm swerving to avoid lunatics in cars (hardly mutually exclusive conditions) I won't do either.

I normally just nod up and down but sometimes I wave

it depends

Really eccentric nod or a BIG THUMBS UP.

Sometimes if I'm feeling really nice they get both. If its someone I know they get a nod like my avatar.

Psycho: He might have thought you were calling him a spastic. (See below)

Note the subtle shifting of the head to the shoulder.
