I agree.......
what's the best and worst concert you been too and why? My best - Seventh Son tour 1987 at Wembley Arena and Monsters of Rock in 1991. My worst - Dave Lee Roth at Hammersmith in 93 (?). Can't remember the year it was THAT bad.......... Best Support Act - Thunder (supported Heart in 1989) Worst Support Act - Nine Inch Nails (supported Guns N Roses in '92) |

Slayer, Venom, Metallica, Maiden, Anthrax, Exodus, Motörhead, King Diamond & Mercyful Fate are a few of the 80s+ black, thrash, NWOBHM bands that I'm into.
Also like a lot of the punk stuff like The Exploited, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, Damned, Peter & the Test Tube Babies, Vapours, etc.

With you on that one hovi5. Good choice of bands. Though current rock I would not say is cr@p, just not me. Exceptions to that are Audioslave, who I was introduced to by a very lovely young lady I work with, together with Feeder. Not exactly rock but still has a lot of power.
I recommend the film 'Metal: a Headbanger's Journey'. Very interesting and informative. Luckypants, I wish my hair would grow long, but it wont!
