Looking for some info... just fitted twin low level's to my curvy, look and sound good but I've noticed a problem
![]() Where the side stand folds up to is not a great place.. Cant get to the little stick out peg for putting the stand down without hitting the hot pipe with my foot ![]() Has anyone got the same problem.. or a solution? |

You could maybe try a GSXR SRAD sidestand, they have a feeler halfway along instead of the massive foot like the SV. It'll maybe stand your bike up too straight if it's on standard ride height though- a later one definately would but SRAD's a happy medium.

![]() ![]() ![]() I had twin hi-level Renegades on my yellow curvy, and never had an issue with the stand (possibly because they were hi-level). I have now got twin Remus on my K3 SV1000 - I think Quiff must still have a headache after following me around on the Norf/Sarf rideout ![]()

Got Twin underseat rene's on my curvy,
I think the stock stand was fine but I changed it to a SRAD version and now the 'feeler' bit is just proud of the exhaust pipe. Such that I too have to touch the hot exhaust to release the stand. If your welding skilling aren't too bad you could just extend the feeler? Never seen a twin low in the flesh so wouldn't know to be honest. Might have a 'spare' SRAD stand... ![]() |

the SV1000 has a much longer 'peg' (actually it's like a curved loop) on the side of the stand to get round this problem - maybe one of those would fit on a 650
see here ![]() |

I like the way the crash bung on that is bending towards the rear of the bike...makes it look like its going a 1000mph, even at standstill!

Benji Has this system on his curvey the sidestand is a bit of a pain and if the system's been meddled with chain clearance can be an issue... Looks and sounds good though
