Default I filtered......

.....well nearly

Riding to work yesterday. 1830 on a Saturday, so the roads were fairly quiet. Came upon a queue of traffic on a relatively wide road, so feeling fairly confident (thanks to AR07), I decided to make my way to the front of the queue. Got to the front, grinning from ear to ear, traffic lights were still red.
Lights changed to green, tried to set off and I STALLED!!

Thank God for my lid coz I was blushing furiously (not that you'd be able to tell anyway ) . Managed to sort myself out and got going.

So will I be filtering again?

Absolutely

Congrats Melody!

Don't worry, we all stall at the front of a queue sometimes, and it is embarrassing, but you'll recover!

yay....oh deeer. never mind. its good though isn't it. giant rasberries in helmet when it goes right...ha ha Mr van driver I toasted you and you stalled--if you ever get a moment like that its hilarious. keep trying. At least your bike can overtake,,my black ones sick and its embarassing..especially trying to overtake old lady in nissan micra..and its given up by the time your half way down her car!!

Its a good feeling. Ive been using mine for the 100mile commute this week and found that I must have saved myself a good 40mins.

What speed do you reckon is safe to filter? I started the week at low 20s but found myself upto low 30s by the end of it and there were still bikes coming past me!

I did exactly the same thing my first time out on the SV... filtered to the front, then stalled.

Restarted... then stalled again, then restarted and went and hid.

But well done, another milestone passed... you'll be at it all the time soon.
