Have to admit that I'm using my inner pair of gloves as well, but not going to go for heated grips yet

Best way to kill yourself are muffs:

Hit something - bike sends you over the top - muffs stop your hands from letting you go - body forced into bike / tarmac / car / wall / whatever you hit at great speed

Have a friend who's a traffic copper who recons that of all the deaths he's seen involving muffs, if they hadn't been fitted then the person would have survived!!!!!!!!

Go for heated grips - it really is the answer at least here in the frozen wastes of the north.

The only thing that has put me off riding in really cold weather in the past is knowing whatever I wore on my hands they'll get very cold. Heated grips has made that a thing of the past...

Dunno...I've been using the SPADA "RIDE recommended" winter gloves(£40) since last winter and they keep my hands dry and toasty

May end up getting grips anyway, but now the handy yamaha dealer in brentwood has closed due to losing the franchise to John Pease i've nowhere convenient to get em fitted

had muffs on my gpz and never had issues but i'll see how they fit to the cbr
