Default my assessor is due tomorrow.(now including costs)

what is he actully looking for? is it basicly to cost the repair? because members on the org have said that they dont really look at the bikes in detail.
should i take my add-ons off before he see's the bike or after?
cheers
darren

ps. i'm a crash virgin so i'm kinda new to all this

Don't really know how it works either, but I would be inclined to remove you grill covers, bellypan, hugger etc (if they are not damaged that is) Not from an assessors point of view, but if you get another SV, then they'll be nice things to have. If not, I'm sure you'll be able to make a few extra quid from selling them on here/ebay. Would make whatever value you get for the bike slightly sweeter if you know you have a couple of hundred pounds worth of mods in hand

took all mine off as i was told i would not get there full value of them

suppose it all depends as how damaged they are if its a race can and that side aint busted would swap for standard and remove any performance bits

So have you taken off?
Makes sense to me - if you can get a std can back on it I don't see why you can't say you swaped back without telling them?
