Default braided hoses

whats the difference between the different makes? as the place i am going to get mine done uses made to measure lines,are the ok?

You can go far wrong with Goodridge or HEL straight from the box, unless they are a good price I can't see an advantage of mate to measure (as the aforementioned kits are made to measure/bike specific at the end of the day!!)

Do the made to measure ones you are going to have made up have a plastic cover on them??

Because they might rub on the paint or ally and leave a mark!!!! Also they will get dirt trapped on the braid and look tatty!!!!

HEL seem to get the lengths wrong an awful lot of the time... My new set has a line that's over a foot too short And I bet the across line will be too long as well. The last set were all too long, but I just fitted them anyway. It's really shoddy TBH, but the lines and the prices are good...

I won an auction yesterday, brand new complete set of braided lines for £12.50, sealed in their box. LOL.
