Default This Stuff is Brilliant

Hi All.

Got some Nikwax Visor Proof a few days ago. I have now ridden in the rain a couple of times since applying it and it is fantastic. The raindrops just get blown off the visor with just a slight movement of the head. I got mine from J & S Accessories shop in Cowplain and paid £4.99. It is worth every penny.

In the words of a tyre advert on TV many years ago: "I believe it is a major contribution to road safety"

Anyway here is an ebay link for you:

A Link

Kind regards
Tim.

On a similar note I tried Cat Crap on my visor for the first time today after reading so much about how good it was. The visor misted after 5-6 miles and it wasn't even raining.

I might give some of that Nikwax stuff a go for the outside though. I'm not sure if I was applying the Cat Crap badly but I followed the instructions.

Hi. I bought a new lid a few months ago, an Arai Condor. It came with an anti-fog insert. I didn't use this for a while as everything I heard about fog inserts was negative. The Arai fogged up far more than my old AGV K Series so in the end I put it in and it is fantastic. It does cut down vision a bit at night though.

It smells better than cat crap

Kind regards
Tim

Thanks for that link. I've just ordered some.

I don't fancy putting cat crap on my visor though. I've just emptied their litter tray but there'll be some more in their later.

If you run out, just let me know. I have a litter tray that you can pick from.

Mr Kruger, my cat has kindly volunteered his services to provide a motion should you require one. Personally I get by without it as it can hum a tad.

For those of you who are worried it might damage the helmet/visor it is water based so no problems there then.

Just bought some myself, I'll fire up a review once it arrives. I'm sure I won't need to wait too long before i get rained on
