Isn’t it amazing how conversations turn??! (mine always do!)
Mate and I were/are having an email chat … one thing that came up was road tax and car insurance etc … (I have 3 vehicles that are due new tax at the end of the month!) he said …
“My road tax bill is steep. 1 small car and 2 biguns + the gixer... Worse is the additional £400pa for putting Jess on Eryl's insurance! Bl00dy kids...” Me (not physically seen my mate for a few years):- “{other stuff} …. Wow is Jess 17 now??? Jeezus!!” Mate:- “She'll be 18 in March. Feck. She spends most of her time getting boffed by some lanky streak of p1ss that looks like a monkey...” Me (being subtle as ever  ):- “Just the one boffer???  ”My mate:- “As far as I know. I don't like to think about it too much! I forced her to dispose of what appeared to be a Portugese man-o-war floating in the khazie the other day though...” I nearly piddled myself on reading that  …. I mean imagine how embarrassing that would have been for his daughter … classic

I had rather an interesting conversation walking to Sainsburys at lunch.
I caught up with a middle aged woman as I was walking faster, as I past her the following conversation took place. Lady - I hate all this traffic Me - Err yes its terrible isn't it Lady - I HATE FLOORS AS WELL ! It was at this point I decided to take no further part in the conversation. |

Many years ago I used to work in Sainsbury's. One day, while stacking the bananas on the shelf, I overheard the following delightful conversational snippet:
Old Dear #1: How's your James doing? Old Dear #2: Oh, he's very well. He's just got a new job. Old Dear #1: Really? What's he doing? Old Dear #2: He's working for an Undertaker. --pause-- Old Dear #1: Well, I'm sure he gets to meet a lot of interesting people...... I had to go and hide in the stor-room until I stopped laughing. |

If they cant do it in the safety of the home then they'll be doing it in some park or behind a bowling alley.
