Default Goddamn fog lights.

OK, it's a big foggy. I don't know what it's like where you are, but here in Exeter it's not much more than a heavy mist. Visibility must be at least 100mtrs easy.

So why pray tell me does every single bloody car driver feel that it's necessary to drive around with their ****ing high-intensity fog lights blazing? I'm sat here at work now and my retinas are still burning! Perhaps they think it's all part of the Christmas lights festivities?

Car drivers - Before hitting the 'blind-those-behind-me-and-mask-my-brake-lights' button, ask yourself just one question. "Can you see the tail lights of cars 100mtrs ahead?" If the answer is yes, then please, do not turn the ****ing things on you ****ing ignoramus!

Rant over.

1. are you exagerating slightly?
2. stop staring at the lights then! target fixation is a bad thing. focus on whats going on around you not directly at the back of the cars

HTH

keithd. a service industry.

ps merry christmas

pps anybody got anything new to complain about?

Fookin' things - I hate 'em too.

Absolutely no need for 'em for the commute into town and, to be fair (must be the time of year!) not many folks were using them.

Fogs bad enough round here this morning to justify it on motorways.

Its not their use that bothers me - that's a judgement call most of the time. What bothers me is that the bastids will forget to turn 'em off for the next six months............

I've never understood this problem with people actually using their fog lights ?

Why do we ride round with our lights on all the time ? so we can be as visible as possible.

So why get so wound up about a little red light ?

Also if you can't tell the difference between brake lights and fog lights you should really think about whether you should be riding a motorcycle anyway.

**** EDIT ****

I wussed out and came in the car today. WITH THE FOG LIGHTS ON !!!

Well as much as I hate those damn fog lights when they're not needed, I'd rather have that than all the dumb driving round here with NO lights on at all.

I don't care if you can see the end of your drive without lights, I want see YOU, you &£%@er !!!
