Default Baaarrrp, baarp... GRRRUMM, barrrpity barp... SQUEEEEEK!

Picture this. Slowing into traffic, my SV growls deeply through its titanium baffle-less Scorpion with a low, satisfying rumble. Into first gear with a neat blip of the throttle. Such a wonderful soundtrack, suddenly shattered as I ease on the rear brake and induce a ear piercing wail from the squeakiest brakes I think you'll ever hear!

So what makes disc brakes squeak? Pads and disc all look fine.

Won't hurt to whip out the pads and retaining pins and spread copper grease on the back of them.

True, true. Thanks instigator, I'll do that. Good bit of routine maintenance in any case I guess?
