Try unplugging the power to the sky box and then putting it back in again. Mine does this sometimes and the only way to clear it is to disrupt the power supply.

You sure you actually disconnected the power. Not just switched it off?

Well the only other thing I can think of is either the cable to the dish has come loose / damaged or the dish has moved and is no longer pointing in the right direction. It only has to be a degree or two out to completely loose the signal.

That message appears when there is no signal (funny enough)

Cancelling your subscription wouldn't cause this to happen.

Check the coax at the back of the STB hasnt been pulled out of the plug (the plug screws on, it isnt a tight fit and sometimes can pull out)

Failing this, you have either got a faulty LNB, your dish has got a knock and been knocked off the satellite, the tuner is faulty in the STB (By any chance is it an Amstrad?) or you have water in your coax.

(Or some joker has cut your coax)
