Default A charmed ride

All in a 1 hour ride this lunchtime: 2 BMWs gave way to me when they didn't have to, a white van driver politely responded to my "you're riding too close behind me, please drop back" hand signal, by dropping back to (and maintaining) a safe distance, without any petulant beeping of his horn, flashing of lights, etc. No other road user did anything ****-witted that caused me to take evasive action. Even the van who nearly changed lanes into me, saw me and cancelled the manoeuvre, before I had a chance to respond.

Oh and I forgot to mention that on the motorway/dual carriageway, every single car moved over to let me pass, once it was safe for them to do so. I tell you, when I parked up, I was looking to see if someone had fitted blue lights to my bike.

Similar stuff often happens to me. Sometimes there's one or two ijit's to spoil it, but on the whole, it's pretty good.

And my lights certainly aren't blue
