Trackdays + Mods = insurance nitemare - SV650.org

I think there was a thread on here a month ago addressing the thorny issue of insurers who will cover your road bike for mods and doing trackdays ...most simply will not cover you for either

is there an insurer that will cover you for both ?

fully comp for trackdays? Not many people do it I think.

Did Suzuki not offer it with the o7 SV's? Thought it was a year's free insurance and upto 6 trackdays, or something similar. If you can get the name of the insurer from Suzuki you can ask if they will do the track insurance direct.

ebike do. I think it's about 60 quid for the day, but the excess is big - something like 600-700? Think you have to have a policy with them though.

I believe it omits fairings and tank too, as do most other trackday policies. You have to be going some to make it worth claiming, really.
