Feck... how scared is that SV going to be now! Well I'm sure she will let us know, and hope she gets sorted quick.

Just had a look at its true... she seems ok though...

Im ok, nothing broken. Hurt like hell, and not much fun having been strapped down in neck brace because there was a possibility of a neck injury. Fortunately, its a muscular injury to the side of my neck rather than a more serious neck injury.

Basically upshot is I overtook two cars on a clear straight stretch and came up behind a third. That car was seemingly going straight so I committed to an overtake. Yep you can guess whats coming... Having gone to overtake, I spot the right turn into a Farm, car then indicates and turns. I go into side of car.

Cue the poor obs and stupidity on my part for not anticipating that... Im already front of the queue for that one

Not sure what state the bike is in. I landed on my back and stayed put - one of the drivers who stopped was a gp and made sure I stayed still. But where I landed I couldnt see the bike. Id say forks and wheel for certain arent good as they would have hit her car. But probably not recoverable.

Spoken to her (well on line stuff) and she'll live, but perhaps not the SV.

On a personal note Lyn dropped by on Friday for a visit, so although obviously wouldn't want to wish this on anyone, I'm glad it didn't happen then.

liked the new you Lyn (but then you knew that) bumps and bruses heal and the odd glass of vino isn't going to hurt matters .

Swift recovery to you and speak to you soon (yeah, yeah on line stuff again).

Mark
