Default Front Brake Pads Knocking

Hi all,

Just completed my GSXR front end upgrade and all went well (mostly) with help from Ben (21Quest), BILLY and Northwind so thanks for all the help guys. I do still have one problem though:

My front brake pads move up and down within the caliper and make a knocking noise when I ride! Anyone got any ideas as to what it could be? I can also physically move the pads up and down with my finger a couple of mm or so.

Cheers,

From what ive been told and i had the same issue, EBC pads are not cut very well compared to OEM or some other makes. Also SRAD calipers suffer from wear on the pad load surfaces. I beleave that Squid will explain better than me on this as he has informed me of the problem.

Mine didn't do it with any of the 3 pads I've run... That's Tokico OEM, Armstrong and Carbon Lorraine A3+
