I have 2 problems with that:

I can't afford two bikes, so would need to find someone willing to pay roughly that much for a K6 SV with almost 15k miles on the clock. Yea, ok! Not going to happen
I'm new to biking, so find me an insurer that charges less than £1k TPO for it

Solve those, and consider it sold. No

when did they change to the underseat exhaust? before i saw the pics i was thinking ooh, what a good price for one of the underseat ones! a mate of mine has an underseat one on a 55 plate

i would have been quite interested at that price i think!

05/06 was the underseat exhaust model.

Mine is an 04 but it was one the dealer had left over. So it is weird but yeah there are underseat exhaust models that are a year older than mine and have no warranty left now but you are lucky to see one for under 4k. Personally I and many of the Ninja forum boys prefer the side exhaust model as it has a wild reputation which they toned down for the lardy underseat model. But then I would say that wouldn't I!!!

C1 model has an underseat pipe which came out in 2005. This is a B1 (B2?) and in my opinion a far better looking bike. I looked at a lot of B1/2s when I was shopping for a new bike towards the end of last year. I really wanted a silver one, but could only find green or black!.

Ducati 916 had underseat exhausts and looked a million dollars,as did the MV,same designer.Then every Tom **** and Harry jumped on the fashion wagon and brought out underseat bikes and the vast majority of them look crap IMHO.Still that's fashion for you.

i only prefer it to the non-underseat version tbh - i would probably take a new gsxr600 or r6 over that. can you tell i want my exhaust to look funny?
