Default Revenge

Anyone ever executed that well thought out plan?? Was it satisfying or did it leave you empty?? I am in 2 minds still whether to undertake - but I havent been able to get an incident out of my head now for a few months now and I feel I ought to do something about it...

nah don't go for the revenge thing myself, it just keeps the issue in your head, and may lead to you doing something out of character (& which you could subsequently feel uncomfortable with having done)

IMO best to move on & put it down to experience

Go-on then...spill the beans!
I felt like that last week when some little scrote spat at my window while I was in the car...for something that had nothing to do with him Did I get out and sock it to him? Hell no, he's not worth the effort

Sort of along the lines of Fizzy Fish.

If it's out of character for you to do the act of revenge, don't do it. Beware of the karma principal if you still decide to go ahead.

However, if it's inline with your character, you'll only regret not doing it.

Not in my character normally but it was a close friend that sh*t on my wife/kids - so is also exceptional. My wife dealt with him so I didnt get my 2p in before the relationship was severed. Now it p*sses me off everytime I see the pr*ck at school... just wandered if anyone had experience dealing with this. I also subscribe to the karma principal (my good side) so it gets me through for now but I just feel there is unfinished business here.

Hmm. Sounds very close to something I've had to deal with in the past. Only I don't get to see him.

Personally, I'd love to kick the whatsit out of him (and contemplated the idea of a ride by shooting - but that was only day dream stuff).

Whilst it would make me feel better, I know how my kids would feel if they were aware that I'd kicked seven shades out of him. I remind myself of that daily, along with the Karma principal.

If revenge is out of character then don't do it. Have never been a revenge type myself, but have lived with guilt and that is sh*t. I think revenge is probably a short lived relief, after that you will feel guilty, expecially of you go to far. Revenge is driven out of emotional, and we all know not all emotions are very practical. Maybe to have your say is one thing, but that is not revenge. My understanding of revenge is to do as bad to them as they have you, and you know the old saying

two wrongs don't make a right

Also if your Mrs feels she has dealt with it then I have to say I think you should respect that. If however, she WANTS you to take it further, then maybe you need to consider that, it wouldn't be revenge, it would be finishing the chapter

Hmmm me thinks you guys are right to leave it. If the opportunity should arise however I will consider it at the time. Not really into the violent pproach but more the busabean way of thinking. Feel better getting some unbiased input though - cheers.
