Default For those wanting to do the nurburgring

Pretty impressive video, Porsche GT3 n R1
Shows off the undulations of the track quite well.

Cool, and not one single speed camera. I would have thought there would have been loads of them on that stretch of road.

Doing the Ring in July, can't wait! Not sure I'll be doing it in under 9 minutes though! Good find Cuffy

Nice one, seen that before, iirc he gets a pretty good time despite the heavy traffic!

For the guys that are doing it this year...be careful with speed into the corners...I remember a couple that tighten up and can catch you out. And that's without the traffic!

(don't mean to teach you to suck eggs, etc, if you already know...just what I noticed)

Well there is a lad off a bike on the track edge looking a bit worse for wear at the 4 minute mark... so you warnings are probably a good idea Muffles.
The Porsche looks like its taking it very handy to me... he is backing off here and there when he gets a bit close to the bike. And the bike looks like he is going for it fairly hard.

Those GT3s must be seriously quick.

I think that the GT3 would have left for R1 behind, had it got past. It seemed quicker in the corners, and under braking (makes sense, the car has four big tyres).

But the R1 ripped away on the straights!
