Unhappy More bang but whats the Buck gonna cost? ( starting issue )

I came to start the bike this morning and it did the Clicking and like it was trying then it died, so called the AA man who came out and jump started it.
cool . .
so i leave it running for ten mins . . then shut it off to eat my boileed egg on toast.
came back to start it and i got a pop and the bike is completely dead no power at all,
so i check the back fuses in the tail which seem fine and i check the 30's under the seat but they look good too, is there like a master fuse ive missed???
and how much do they cost?? + would you buy a battery from busters catalouge

help!

Before you buy anything, stick the battery on charge.

10mins running (not idling) is just about enough to recover the charge used in the battery when turning the starter motor.

Charge the battery, go for a run, see what happens. It could be a flat battery, it could be a goosed battery, it could be a faulty charging circuit (eg, reg./rect.). Until you have more information, there's no point parting with cash on the wrong thing.

EDIT: If (and I said if) it's the regulator that's gone, there's a couple of replacement options. Non of them (except the genuine suzuki one) are a direct plug in & go fix, but you can get more reliable units & alter the wiring cheaper than you can get OEM suzuki regulators.

EDIT #2: If you have enough juice (before or after a charge) stick it in dealer service mode & see if there's any error codes showing up. Safe to start the bike in this mode too, and it'll most likely tell you where the fault is.

On my curvey, the main fuse is a green box just under the RHS rear edge of the fuel tank. If you pop the side panels off under the riders seat you should be able to see it, if its in the same place on a pointy. Which I think it might be.

If you havent checked it and the bikes totally dead then thats what I would check next.

Theres a 'master' fuse under the triangular black covers (the ones below the seat) on curveys not sure on pointies though. Worth a look.
