FAO Metal Fans

Like a lot of you on here, got tickets to the Metallica gig in July (although a little concerned that it is the day after the live earth concert )

Anyway, does anyone know when the elusive new album is due to be released? All I can find is 2007.........sometime! Any advance on this?

By the way, heard a couple of tracks from the new Megadeth album due
on 14th May. They sound on form.

Why are you asking Metal fans about a Metallica concert????

Maybe 10 or so years ago.............

Should be called Poplica these days......

My son has tickets to some "gig" this weekend, starts tonight and goes on until Sunday evening. I expect it'll be "Bullet for my Valentine", "Funeral for a friend" or some other bands with names that us parents find rather confusing....

I do like rock music, but probably not as the younger generation know it. Although I can be tempted to listen to a bit of "Cake" from time to time.

Yeah, point taken, but i still like them and who knows, the next album
may suprise.
Perhaps i should change the title to Rock Fans?

Jelster, I understand that Bullet for my Valentine are due to be the support
for Metallica.
By the way, I am 35 and probably should be listening to Beethoven!

some would say almost 20 years ....

are there any other rumours of other support bands? i presume there must be a couple more...

saw metalicker a couple of years ago & they didn't play any load or reload stuff.

Seems that they may have realised the error of their ways.

Give us some godammed guitar solos & more than 2 riff changes to a song!
