Well after a little effort and some elbow grease the CB is nearly there, got tyres and front calipers to change, throttle tube needs replacing and that's about it, Don't look bad for 6 years under a cover in the front garden, (Oh and I will wash it at some stage, well blackmail Shawn into doing it anyway).

Looks really good rictus, specialy since you say its been kept outside unused for so long!
Maybe consider re-painting the forks? Or is it just me that it looks like the finish has gone on them? Now you can use it to cruise about and see which chav(s) stole the scoot! Matt |

It's a lot of things, but clean isn't one of them.
Ricardo had the tank cap, getting another key cut at the time.

Try and look after this one a bit better than the last one there's a good chap.
Are you trying to tell us that after six years under that cover all you have done is remove the cover ![]() ![]() ![]() |

No, I did wipe it down a bit and grease a few bolts, unsieze the choke cable, changed the exhaust, drain the carbs and tank, charge the battery and mended the brake light switch, but that's about it, it hasn't been washed yet.
It was left with a fine mist of WD40 over it all and covered, started each year for the first couple, then left for 4, so didn't turn a wheel in 6 years. (still a Suzuki would have been easier to move, after 6 years you could have done it with a broom ![]() Cheers Mark
