Default Textiles for commuting in (15min journey)

Hopefully about to start commuting on the bike, a 15 min ride. Don't want the hassle of my leathers for such a short trip.

Any tips for textile trousers for summer that go over a pair or trousers and give some protection?

I use some SPADA over trousers and a TECNIC jacket loads of protection in them! and they have removeable linings for when it gets hot!

Haven't got a pic of the trousers though!

Based on that I wore for my DAS and the Bike test where my clothing didn't sabotage me (ie the on that I passed instead of dropping the bike due to new, tight leathers)

Draggin Jeans WITH knee armour (and get someone who knows how to sew to add pockets for hip armour.

Joe Rocket Phoenix 4.0 Mesh Jacket - has removeable lining, so can be worn most of the year.

cost of the pair will be about £250 ish.

The problem with Draggin Jeans is that I'll have to change out of them once at work, kind of defeating the point, my leathers already do this! One some trousers to go over my work trousers. I'll have a look at Spada over trousers at some stage

textiles, hot in the winter, cold in the summer, waterproof in the rain. Unless you're on the track, i see no need for leathers!

I have Spada textiles as well, reccommended by Ride mag and my local bike shop. My trousers were £90 and have lasted for nearly 3 years now!

Just in case anyone's interested, here's the page...
