I thought i would post a picture of my bike with my nephew on it.
I'm in two minds at the moment and struggling to resist the temptation of playing about with it. In one respect i want to get parts like tailtidy and rear can etc, but the other devil on the other shoulder is telling me to keep it as it is, in mint condition for a year then trade it in for a GSXR750or1000. Either way for now and learning on I cant fault it or think of a better bike. The only down side is sometimes I feel the front end is too soft, but i have no balls to start playing around with settings ![]() ![]()

Theres no reason you cant tweek it, as long as you keep the standard bits, so you can return it to stock before you sell it you'll be fine.
Then you can flog the non standard bits on here or ebay and make a little extra money on the deal.

I think it will have to be an end can at the very least as you can hear anything but wind over 70mph

I tricked mine even when I knew I was going to have to sell it - wished I'd done it sooner, esp the can.
And, as FW says, I made money (well, I didn't lose any) when I sold the bike as stock and the trick bits went different ways. |

Cloggsy, I got a sport the other week, nothing different apart from Lowers and seat cowl. I didn't even get the little SPORT sticker that came on the silver one in my dealers
![]() Graeme, just got my blue flame exhaust on tonite, barks like wolf now as opposed to a mouse, change your can!! |

Yeah iam no expert but i think its just the lower fairings, seat cowl and a sticker that says sport
![]() Think in the manual it says that the suspension is on a stiffer setting front and rear, but not sure whether that difference is between the SV and SVS. I know i need one Ian...i will wait till i have heard one in the flesh first, as if i use it for work i have to set off at 7.30 and dont want to wake the world up.

Really nice bike! I really like it!!
![]() I'd like to make mine a "sport", but don't now if I bother putting the extra money in it, when I'm possibly gonna sell it in a year or so.. Not the right place, but I'll just throw in a question; I have to cut of my original can to change, yeah? There's no removable link there? |
