1000th post. Ta daaa!

Surely I now become a hallowed Mega Poster?

Right:

Okay, my 1000th post. [insert fanfare!]

It's a bit like this. I could have, as Cuffy suggested, done something hackneyed & naff, and as soulless as a Friday night BBC comedy starring Robert Lindsay.Or I could have said, "Wilkommen" to a newbie.

However my 1000th post more or less coincides with when I bought my SV (yes, Hovis a yellow curvey: Village of the Damned, here I come!) ;o)
So, surely I should mark the occasion. It means nothing to anyone else so it's gotta be kind of a personal post!

So here it is, or for Stingo, "Avast, here it be, me land lubber, scurvey dogs":

To mark the occasion & to make it more real by posting it in a thread: Before my 2000th post I intend to:

1. Do a track day

2. Write a book (Fiction, hard sci-fi)

3. Compose more songs (Been a bit lazy recently)

4. Do a gig! (Really should have done this by now, pretty sure I told my careers officer that I was going to be a rock god by the time I was 30....oops, missed it!)

5. Take up a new hobby (my friends call me the Hobby King as I take a new one up & get obsessive about it for 6 months-2 years then drop it)

6. Quit my job & do that start up company that I nearly keep on doing!

7. Be less intolerant of people that wind me up! Hard one this!

8. Get that goddammed tattoo! If someone could just drag me into a tattooist, lock the door behind me & hope they don't have blasters then that'd be grand.

9. Dig out that sceenplay I wrote, finish it off, polish it up & actually send it into the radio.

10. go somewhere absolutely mind blowing for a 6 week (min) bike tour, e.g. Kula Lumpar, USA coast to coast.


Right, I figure I've got 6 months to a year to do all these 10 action items...Anyone else want to put theirs up & we'll compare notes!?

Bloody hell mate! Do a trackday and get a tattoo is more than enough. Unless you're going to post really sparingly from now on...
