Default Jack up kit

Are these a bit extreme? 30mm sounds a lot and is it likely to make the front end unstable??

used the inch ones from JHS no probs, especially when used in conjunction with a fork spring upgrade. still got the drawing somewhere if you want.

If you have a GSXR shock fitted and attended to the front end then they wouldn't be a problem. The GSXR shock is shorter than stock so that is why they are fine for that. I've got a mate over here who makes up adjustable dogbones (4 choices) for $50 AUD. Paying anything significantly more than that is far too much.

Dan it looks like they dont make them any more, I could e-mail you the pattern for the 25mm raisers they are not hard to make! Any local engineering firm, or yourself, could knock them up.

I got some for a curvy off ebay for £17 so could be worth a look. £40 sounds a bit steep for two simple bits of metal.

I have those dog bones from ebay on my bike , and had no problems with them , bike still as stable as it was before , got them to compensate for gsxr shock.

The 3cm figure i belive is at end of your bike tail , seat height wasnt change by much, less than 2cm's

Are there any issues with front end stability with the ebay dog bones?
