Default almost tasted asphalt

Took my bike out yesterday for a short ride and about a mile into it I barely missed a plastic lid to a trash can/rubbermaid container. I was following too close to the car in front of me and not looking far enough ahead. Purely my fault...

Other than that it was a good day, now I have my bike at my apartment...no disc lock or chain yet though. Luckily where I live we rarely have any issues with theft.

lol...didn't take a road test yet...in america they trust us with 1000cc sportbikes with just an 8 hour class covering the basics and a 5 minute written test.

my last bike was a 1k (1987 kawasaki zx1000r), dropped it from a stop sign though ...not much damage, but I knew I needed to start on a smaller bike.
