All racers know the risks they take doing what they love, still its never nice to hear that one paid the ultimate price for it.

Condolences to his friends and family & RIP to the fella himself.

Always a shame, but thankfully a death is pretty rare (especially in pro racing), which considering the nature of the sport and frequency of crashes is quite surprising!!

I was introduced to Guy at the may bank hol BSB at Oulton Park, and I've known his team and fellow rider & team mate James Hillier for a couple of years, as my best friend is a sponsor of GEARLINK who Guy rode for.

Mick (my friend) is absolutely gutted, as he was there at Mondello when it happened, and from what I've been told the rest of the team are still walking around in a bit of a daze.

It's Guy's funeral tomorrow (Tuesday 10th July), and my thoughts & prayers go out to his family.
