What is it worth????

Whist i can appreciate that its hard to give a guide price, without actually physically inspecting the bike...can anyone in the know enlighten me on what would be a fair price to sell it for in its entireity.

It will be a Cat B (damage at one place in the frame, that i can see)
circa 24k miles
quite alot of the parts are undamaged/minorly damaged thus saleable
Engine started up fine so should be ok.

Any ideas on £'s?

Cos it's a cat B no one can repair it, so really the best bet is to add up how much the bits could sell for and then knock some off for the fact someone would take the whole thing off your hands - what do engines go for? £300 or something? Wheel(s) would be worth a bit? Maybe £500 for the bike then? (that's a wild guess, don't take offence if it's lower than you expected! - I'm not an expert )

No offence taken at all muffles, thats about what i guessed it might be worth. I had an offer of a little less than that, but the guy wants to put it on the track as opposed to breaking it....so my sentimental side would like to see it ragged on the track Hell if he wants to break it and make some £'s thats fine with me, as i cant do it myself.

On track with a cracked (and then presumably repaired) frame? I spose that works, dunno why it wouldn't, just wouldn't seem the obvious choice! Good luck selling anyways

TBH i am not 100% sure of their plans...the frame is sort of half split on a weld, so as long as it is done well(i.e. to the original standard) then i imagine it would be fine.
