i know this has been cover'd before somewhere but i need to ask again
![]() the spare set of sv1000 fairing lowers ive got are held together with some black pins at the bottom underneath? i know the rivet type pin's where the middle pushes out but these are different? they just look like they have been forced in and if i try to remove them i'm afraid they may break and i need to split the 2 sections so i can eBay them. anyone know what i am on about? |

The pin's in two parts - a mushroom shaped outer and a drawing pin shaped inner.
Remove the inner pin by pushing it out from the inside of the fairing panel, once you've got a mm or two underneath the head of the pin, you can remove it from the outside of the panel using a pair of needle-nose pliers. Simple. |
