I can just see the scenario...

Dishevelled and hungover bloke staggers round his flat 'the morning after', finds said undies, remembers exactly what he got up to and then panics. His gf/wife will be home any minute. To his foggy hungover mind flushing seems to be the only way they can't possibly be found in his posession....
