Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).
There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too.

Thumbs up Newbie

Hi all, I am new and I thought I would introduce myself!

Unfortunately I don't have an SV as I couldn't find a decent one when I was bike hunting so I bought a ZR-7s instead. (I was desparate to get on the road after passing my test). Very similar horse power and ride, it just doesnt sound quite as sweet.

The reason that I find myself here is that my best mate (2mths) has an SV, albeit a pointy one, and he loves it here.

I joined in on the "Coast and a Roast" rideout that the East Anglian guys ran and met some of you there. I am the tall fat one in the pics and my bike is the candy lightning blue one. (link > http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=87901&page=7 )

I have got a pass from the wife to attend the AR07 so 2mths and I should be riding up together on the Friday.

Hope to meet some more of you there!

Jar

HELLO!

You made it at last! Can't be many people that manage to attend their first rideout before making their first post!

I can finally stop posting about "my mate" now and just call you Jar.

Oh Fenda Extenda just ordered online btw. Hoping it'll come in time for us to fit it before the AR.
