Default Casey Stoner booed...

I didnt hear any when I was at Donnington, but according to MCN and people posting on the MCN forum, Stoner received alot of booing from so called "Fans"

Personally I think this is pretty disgusting way to behave.

I'm getting tired of the Rossi fans who only follow Rossi and have no interest in any of the other classes or other riders.

What the hell possessed them to boo?

That makes no sense whatsoever. Maybe if Stoner had road-rash-style kicked Rossi off his bike, or smashed him over the head with a chain, but for just winning?

4 year olds cry when they don't get what they want, "sports fans" - scratch that "result fans" boo. Surprised they didn't all feck off once it became clear Rossi wasn't going to win, sort of like what a lot of Premiership football "fans" do.

What disgusting behaviour. A sign of those who are really ignorant of the sport itself and are merely Rossi leg humpers. They selected him when it was a no brainer as he just kept on winning.

I imagine the fact that Casey could match a record set by the GREAT Agfostini in 1972 if he wins in Assen(rider with 3 or more succesive wins in one season)

If he beats Rossi this weekend he would be only the second rider,(after Rossi) of achieving 3 consecutive wins since Alex Criville did it in the top clas in 1999.

An additional fantastic achievement could be made by Ducati who could achieve 3 or more wins in the same season This has not been achieved by a european factory since MV Agusta did it in 1973/74 but then it took both Phil Read and Ago to do it.

A cottage industry factory taking on and beating out of sight mammoth companies like Honda for me has a real ring of romance to it.

But those yobs at Donington have their heads so far up Rossi¡s a*s they cannot appreciate what is going on around them.

Thats totally what they were like, Friday and Saturday, had a much more knowledagble and appreciative crowd, Sunday was full of Rossi leg humpers as you so eloquently put it.

When they invaded the track they wanted one thing, to get as close to Rossi as possible. I can't see how the stewards can prevent it theres just not enough of them and IMHO its not the marshalls job to deal with crowd control.

I hope Stoner uses this as the motivation to keep on going and beat him again next weekend.

I am a Rossi fan because he is most probably one of the best(maybe not at the moment) but i go to the racing to watch the racing and totally enjoyed myself watching ALL the racing.

That article also states that it was rocked from side to side as well and that Casey was booed at the day of champions...disgusting!
