Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).![]() |

The vids from the AR are worth working on, mine's a bit... Boring, really, I started at the back so hardly any bikes in and it's not quick. But Raf's is better, gets a lot more bikes in for one, though the rain got some of the footage. But both have tons of mucking about at the start and finish, and the soundtrack's worthless... Also, they're about 1gb each! So, they need a little fettling, and I haven't a clue. Any advice?
Oh yes, the picture quality's OK but not good enough for number plates, you are all safe ![]()

Windows Movie Maker is part of XP onwards.
Might be worth a try with that - did an ok job of letting me edit the PSP cam vid I posted. David

![]() ![]() i think divx has free compression tools availible for download, and it is also not a bad codec, but the trouble with it is, people usually need the divx codec installed to view them correctly, if your planning on putting the footage straight onto DVD, why bother compressing it, just stick it in nero. |

Initially I just want to crop off the dead time at the ends, and remove the soundtrack to reduce the file sizes... Having a play with Windows Move Maker and it's adequate for now (I had no idea I even had it!) but I might look around for something better later, it's been a little odd to use and slightly buggy.
