Default What to get?

Gonna need some new rubber v soon!

Advice please.

K1 650S. Used every day to commute 60 miles a day (in all weathers) and a few weekend blasts.

So I need fairly hard wearing but sticky tyres.

Suggestions please.

Another vote for Z6s - they seem to do the job! I have Conti Road Attacks on the Zed which I am also very impressed with... Good price too!

May look at Contis as they're like the budgie..........................Cheep!!!

Anyone else got experience with the Conti Road Attacks on an SV?

I had 'em on a Bandit 650 and had loads of fun grinding the pegs on it!

I have the conti Road attacks on my SV, been very good to me. The rear managed 8900 miles and still had 500 miles left, but the plug in the tyre was leaking air and I had the AR to do. So got another set on...
Been good in all weathers, almost no chicken strips as well so they respond well in the dry... I had them on when I was doing the AR, and I wasn't hanging about then either.

Front was 76 quid fitted I think and the rear was 86.

Travelling 84 miles a day... Wednesday to Friday now.

Oi!!

I think the RA's are good but I can only compare them with the rubbish stock D220's. Felt confident to tip the SV alot more than before after the first 20-30 miles on them (and when the pressures are correct ).

The shortlist of sports touring tyres that I've heard good things about and am looking at (although it be years before I need to replace)

Pilot Road 2's
Z6's or Diablo Strada's
Road Attacks (again)
