I have the 2 piece strike 2 titanium jacket and jeans in leather and am a little dissapointed in the stitching. They only get used in the dry about once a week for sunday hacking but both velcro sleeve fasteners are gone on the jacket, the jeans have started to come unstitched on the hip pannels and the full zip i think is going to break as it keeps sticking. Christ this kit is only 6 months old has anyone else had any problems with the FT stuff?

Liz has a pair of Titanium Trousers, the stitching came apart on them and she had to send them back to FT for repair.

I have a 2 piece Frank Thomas Suit. I think the quality of the suit cant be knocked. However i think the overall fit of the pants could be better. The are really baggy round my shins and thighs. Even when im on the bike. Im sure they weren't that baggy when i have bought them.
I know i have lost weight but i aint lost that much. ![]() |

I have a Strike jacket and strike 2 trousers. They're a bit s***. I didn't have a lot of choice when I got 'em though. They're not awful, but the build quality's really ropey, particularily on the older ones- the leather looks more painted than died, the stitching's too fine and a lot of it's exposed. I don't really trust the suit... Also, check the armour, some of these suits have just unrated padding instead of CE armour.
But on the other hand, I've crashed at about 70mph on track and maybe 30mph on the road in this suit and it didn't just hold together, I'm still wearing it. It worked very well both times, so my criticism's maybe a bit harsh. I'm getting a bit too used to better gear. Even so, I wouldn't buy another one of these suits...

I had a pair of FT winter gloves, they were appalling. Expensive too. Bulky, not waterproof, not even warm, and they fell to bits.
