Default Thundercat fork internals?

Has anyone heard of this mod to improve front forks on a pointy? I've just heard about it elsewhere on the net and thought I'd check it out on what is surely the SV oracle.

Haven't heard of Chunder Cat internals as such, have heard of people swapping the fork caps on early curvies for Yam preload adjusters.
CBR600 cartridges have been used I'm told, (can't remember which model).

Within reason any fork internal would work - finding one with the required suitable dimension is the important factor, and having the same threads would help too.

Not worth the effort im afraid, I recently had the unfortunate pleasure of re-doing a set of froks that had R6 cartridges, done by a so called expert company.............very badly!
And they didn't work as well as a set of std forks with emulators and springs, You can have adjustable rebound, but without compression adjusters they need alot of tracktime and re-engineering to find the correct setup.
Racetech springs and emulators............Fit and forget!!
Or another front end

what Rob says. Steve has also had to undo a mess made by someone inserting an R6 kit into the fork.

Not worth it IMHO...Chris won this years championship running emmulators, springs and oil. Good enough for anyone that!
