First ride out today on new k6 sport

Had my first ride out today and it was great fun, ended up at a cafe this morning on a hill just outside of Guildford on the A25 I think, for a bacon buttie. The only problem I seemed to have was that the clutch handle seems to be a bit far away for me to get a proper grip and my hand ached for a while after, only did 60 miles. Been out of the biker scene for a few years, as soon as I got there 2 complete strangers came up asking questions about the bike, its good to be back.

Welcome back i had never ridden before (only passed test last October), and I suffered the same aches in my hands ... I just put it down to not being used to using my hands in that way ... I got used to it tho Ironically, I now get soreness in my left calve muscle (clutch pedal leg) after climbing back in the car after prolonged bouts of riding. I must be so unfit LMAO

Try rotating the lever down a bit, easy job just loosen a couple of nuts. I did this on my SV and it felt a lot better.

Only done a 100 miles so going out again tomorrow morning( the wife loves me) with my brother to stick a few more on hehehe

I'm running in my sport K6 at the moment and I had to drop the brake and clutch levers, they're set too high from the factory, as if you're gonna be plastered to the tank on a track all day with your arms low. I still get a bit of hand ache though but only when commuting through town. Out on the open road, especially as you get to raise the revs, it's fine. Vibes affect me though sometimes.

I had to lower my clutch lever too and it's much better. Got arm ache the first time i rode it but it seems fine now. Is it ok to move the brake assembly in the same way as it looks way more complex.
