Default Then And Now!

Had my bike a couple of months now and was just browsing through pics that ive had, starting from when i went to see a 'Sport' in the flesh;

This was the moment i put a deposit down, although this isnt my actual bike as it had a small dent in the tank where it was knocked in transit...

This is my baby;

First few things needed were tail tidy and some crash bungs;

Then fender extenda;

Followed by a rear hugger;

Invasion of the Valleys and other rideouts i had been on also confirmed the need for a can, so after doing the usual CCC or Fuel type debate, i settled for Fuel Stainless Oval.....and its my fave mod yet!!!(Cheers Biker_Billy) Awesome Sound

Im really happy with the bike now as everything i want is more or less done, im still learning shed loads each time i go out so not gonna fiddle too much with suspension etc for a while yet, think my next mod maybe an IAM/ROSPA type course...

Good work, are you going to bring it along to the Taffia meet next week?

Thanks, did you find it easy to fit? I read the instruction on their website and it looks like some effort, I can imagine myself doing it and then not being able to get panels to line up correctly.

You should have a play about with the suspsension settings, i feel it made a massive differenc to te way my sport cornered. Mine is pretty much on the stiffest setting front and rear but i do weigh 13st.

In theory its easy, just like a Haynes manual! But I mullered my hand undoing one of the screws at the beginning, which meant the rest of fitting was a painful experience, but TBH it was ok.....though like you i was also worried.

I took pics as i went along so i had a decent idea of where things went if it all went tits up!

Ive altered the preload on the front but not touched the rear. Cant get my head round all the complex info that ive tried reading, Ill need someone to explain it to me on the next rideout i go on!

Complex reading? pah just get your C spanner out from the toolbox and adjust the shock one setting, ride it to see if its an improvement if not try it on the next setting and so on.

Chances are you will muller your hand again though, its a right **** to get at. I crushed my fingers at least 3 times trying out different settings.
