Default Air filter de-snorkelling

Naked curvy on 33bhp, I want to hear some induction noise so thinking of chopping the middle out of the air filter.
What will this do to the mixture?
Will it increase power at all?

It will **** it up Though, to what extent I don't know. In a full power bike it'd be pretty much unridable but in yours, I'm not sure how much difference hte restrictors will make if any. Same applies for power.

Not much use eh? I did something similiar, put a Race RS into mine without rejetting from the Renegade airkit (Race RS flows a wee bit better than the desnorkelled stock filter, but it's not massive) and oh my word... It just couldn't pull above 5000rpm, it slowed down the more i opened the throttle. Emergency application of electric tape got me to work and back

If you're restricted, I'd be cautious of doing any sort of "tuning" work of this nature. You're in a lose-lose situation; either (most likely) it does nothing/makes the bike worse, or, it works and makes a couple of horsies more, thereby making your bike illegal and uninsured. If you're prepared to do that, you might as well just derestrict it.

Has anyone got dyno data for how much it will actually give?
