Exclamation New Bike

Hey guys.

Just got my 2000 Sv650S delived to my house, the guy started it up for a split second then ****ed off, well rolled it into the garage.
Tried to start it and it just wouldnt, full of fuel, using choke and it wouldnt start, looks like the battery is dead. Can anyone help in where it is? Dirgrams would be nice and abit of advice.

EDIT: It all works now, also got pics just scroll down

Cheers

Check that it's not in gear with the side stand down. Check the kill switch (big ride switch on RH bar). And remember that you have to hold the clutch in to start the bike.

If that all fails, is the dash lighting up when you turn the key ?

When you press the starter is the starter turning over trying to start? Or do you get nothing at all?

Battery is under the riders seat. Take off pillion seat, remove the two black plastic side panels under riders seat, then undo the two allen bolts holding the riders seat in place. Remove seat. Now you should be able to get to the battery.

The battery is under the rider seat, take the black plastic side panels off and then the seat and there it is. The battery.

Dude he shouldn't have just left, i would call the shop back if you bought from one and demand they sort it out. When I got my bike dropped off the the guy spent 30 mins with me going over the bike and showing me anything I needed to know.

If that is indeed a shop they that is crap service.

I picked mine up from the showroom two days later it would not start at work so called the shop. The guys turned up with a van took bike back charged battery. when i picked it up they said if i had anymore bother ring them.So sure enough it started to get lazy when starting so rang them up told them i wanted a new battery they said no problem, never had any bother since.
So get on the phone and get them to sort it if they are any why decent you should have no probs
