Has anyone fitted a Scorpion can to a k7 yet? The scorpion website doesnt list the 07 model, so im not sure if they make one for it yet. Any one know better? Cheers!
Also..whats the difference between curvey and pointy? does it affect the choice of exhaust? thanks! |

As far as i know, the K7 system is the same as the K6 & 5 Models. The K7 i beleieve was just some colour changes.
Curvey - Sv's up to 2003. Pointy - From 2003. It applies to the body and frame shape. And yes it would. The pointy SV i believe is a bolt on system?? Where as the Cruvey SV you had to cut the system. Welcome to the forum |

No you have to cut the pointy system aswell.
Scoprian were looking for a test mule to develope a new system, not sure if they still are. I read somewhere the K7 exhaust now has a meter of some sort measuring emmisions and fueling, scorpian tried drilling the current system available to accomodate this but it kept cracking, hence developing the new one? Edit: posted that at exactly the same time as above. Welcome and where abouts are you from? The Scorpian factory is just around the corner from me. |

Cheers for the replies guys.
I got in touch with Scorpian about them needing to borrow a bike a few weeks ago after seeing someone post on here about them needing a test model. They still needed one then, but not sure now. Im down in Essex, so it would be a 170 odd mile trip up there. i told them to send me a message if they cant get hold of another, but i could only do a weekend visit. I think ill hold off for now then until they bring out a k7 version, but i will investigate further incase its just a case of drilling a hole for the sensor. |

It would be worth the trip for a new and ultimately FREE exhaust, guaranteed to be top quality finish and fit, as they will want to take pics for the web site.
My mate even got paid petrol cost when he lent his car to Mongoose for exhaust developments. |

Knightrider, a member on here is lending his bike to Scorpion for them to develop a K7 exhaust.. I would have thought it's the same as the K6 etc but the K7 has a Lamda sensor which could be the reason for a diff exhaust..

Looks like the SV650 has been put on hold at the moment, as they are currently playing with the Suzuki Hayabusa and the B king
