Just rustling up breaky
Smoked back bacon, Pork & Leek sausages, Black Pudding, bought directly from the farm. To which I have mushrooms picked by my mother yesterday, Tomatoes from mums greenhouse. Baked beans by Mr Heinz, fried bread (bread baked in Asda).

Bottle of HP, Mustard & pepper sat on table.

Just waiting for wife/daughter to get back from the hospital and I can partake of a late breakfast with a hot mug of extra strong tea.

Sometimes it is the simple things that are so satisfying.

I have high cholesterol so I have to be careful how many of THOSE I eat

btw ... I have to shamelessly plug a nice little guest house in Staffordshire (Newcastle-Under-Lyme) ... if you ever need accomodation in the area check them out - The Graythwaite Guest House. I spent about 3 months here during last summer (was working in Newcastle-Under-Lyme at the time), and their breakfasts are fantastic! That's not just my opinion either - they won the best cooked breakfast in Staffordshire 2005 award! LOL

Their bread is home-baked, their sausages/bacon/eggs are all farm-sourced locally, their jams/preserves are home-made, and they will even do you the local delicacy of oatcakes (is it any wonder my cholesterol is high?!) LOL

Worth a visit if only for their breakfasts, and the warm welcome from John and Hazel but the rooms (whilst basic) are nice and comfy (oh and they also have internet access in all rooms)

Sorry for the slight derail there and the totally shameless plug
