Smile A strange dream

Had a dream last night...
I put 4 Sv1000 engines on a dune buggy frame, each engine working a wheel. Obviously I didn't go into great detail but it got me thinking this morning.
would it actually work, How fast would it go etc.
Has anyone ever heard of anyone doing anything similiar as i'm curious.

I know on Scrapheap Challenge they've made 4wd vehicles by using a motor for the front and one for the back, but dunno why?

Surely getting them to run at the same speed would be very difficult?

Wouldn't they all need syncronising almost perfectly. Or it would go all over the place.

Someone put two engines into a westfield, one to power the front axle and one to power the rear axle, in an attempt to break the 0-60 record, tiff needell drove it on tv but it threw a rod after the first run. was very quick though.

Peugeot had a dual engine rally car a few years ago, I can't remember if it was the 205 or the 405. Maybe you could ask them why they scrapped the idea? (Regulations, probably...)

My dreams very seldom have a mechanical nature. Well apart from that time I got it on with the female terminator from T3, sounds erotic, but she spoke like Arnold and it put me off...
