has anyone had problems with the sv650 running rough when damp and extremely rich even when hot? I think it maybe a wiring connector fault but which one??

Morning all.
Carburettor, Or Curvy SV's as they're called are known to be tempermental when it's damp for a number of reasons. Firstly the front cylinder plug cap is prone to getting wet & shorting, carburettor icing is the second problem that can occur, especially this time of year. Then there is the problem with the choke plungers sticking, usually due to sticking cables. Cheers. |
