You pay all that money for a good quality helmet and then ask questions.!!!!
Why ask after the event.?????

I have asked elsewhere, but I wanted the wisdom of the org

Nice shiny finish looks easy to clean, matt might scuff easily or something?

You are right though it's a bit late now but I'm excited about getting a new toy.

I've got a raid2 in solid matt black and have done almost 20,000 miles in it. It's now started to look scuffed and shiny. Your new lid looks lovely but might take a little bit more looking after than usual. I'll be replacing mine...with another raid2 for sure.

just clean it. I've got a matt Shark helmet. Cleaned it yesterday actually, as it was looking grubby after a year of crap being thrown at it. Only intended on cleaning the bugs off the visor!
Had some of this under the kitchen sink, that I hadn't got round to using before

And its brought it up rather nicely, even the white bits that had gone a shade of mucky grey
