Going to replace my chain & Sprockets but have got the chance of good prices on the Iris 525-FD gold chain or the Izumi 525 x ring gold Chain, have seen mixed reports about Iris chains but this was some time back, so have they got better?

Iris are worse than the normal low standard of cheap chain.
I'd use DID or tsubaki because I know they're decent kit.

I would not buy another iris chain , very poor quality and got it replaced with a Tsubaki chain which is very good quality , have used Did again good quality

Three strikes and out, looks like no contest for the Iris chain then, will be heading down the Izumi path this time. Can't afford to throw money down the drain this day and age.
cheers for the feedback |

Have used Iris many times, had no troubles with them.
Care is more important than brand.

Izumi for me. After seeing an Iris snaking in front of my wheel on the motorway, I wouldn't touch em with a bargepole....would anyone after that?
