the org laughed at me

but for good reason and i dont mind
yesterday i for the first time in months RODE MY BIKE
yes ladies and gent i RODE MY BIKE
not well, not fast, and far from pain free but i dont care i did it and im smiling like a chesher cat

why so funny well at first i could only use 3rd cos i couldnt change gear, then i worked out i couldnt take left handers properly as i couldnt lean.
when i could change gear i could go up gears normaly but had to use my heel to down shift, i did i admit look very strange

shall we just say watching a criple on a pink handlebared bike roll up to rivi brought some tears of laughter to the huddled mass's of the org
im currently in bed paying for my little adventure ,sucking painkillers like there smarties

rictus i now completely understand what you were saying at the ar ,it does feel good and lift the spirits

next attempt will be tomorrow i think and about the same distance ( those few miles home i was sweating buckets) and graduly build up, i will say i suspect my doc and physio shall be unimpressed with my antics. but they are not bikers so dont get how p'd off and frustrating it been for me these last few months

so join in my day of joy and regale me with all the nice things thats happened to you's over the last few days, to keep this big f off grin on my face
