Default Are Cotton Reels worth it?

Are any of the other crash bobbins worth getting for the SV, e.g. ones that sit on the forks at the front and ones that sit at the back on the swingarm (im not sure if that is where they go), someone was telling me the other day how when he crashed his bike they saved him a fair bit of wedge.

Default Re: Crash Bobbins, other than Normal R&G's?

there's loads, search ebay.
Not sure which brands do them but ebay sell a lot of cheapos.

EDIt: infact what am I saying; daviesv on the forum makes and sells them and he's put them in use on a org rideout (and the bike didn't have a mark on it)
